Penny Lane Towers (since renamed Eighth Avenue Place) is a twin downtown office tower project constructed on the former site of Calgary’s Penny Lane Mall. It consists of a 51-storey east tower (Calgary’s third tallest building) and the 41-storey west tower. Within the east tower is a three-storey indoor urban park.

This project involved one of the largest raft slabs constructed in Western Canada at the time. It was a challenge to detail, fabricate and install – but the A&H team proved itself up to the task. We were all proud to be a part of constructing something of this vision and magnitude.

As one of our first major office builds in Calgary, we faced challenges securing manpower at a time the construction industry was booming. A&H Steel proved our ability to attract and retain a highly-qualified team required to complete this complex installation within the set timelines.
